Job Description:
AA Euro Healthcare is welcoming applications from experienced healthcare professionals.
We are seeking agency relief Support Workers for our well-established clients based in Portsmouth. The suitable candidate will be working for us on behalf of one of the UK\βs biggest social care charities.
Requirements for this role include:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate
- One year\βs experience working with adults with physical & intellectual disabilities
- Up-to-date Medicines Administration training
- Up-to-date Safety Intervention training
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and report changes in clients\β health or behavior
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
