Key Responsibilities
- Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
- Assisting with daily living activities including personal care where required.
- Supporting individuals to access community activities, appointments, and social opportunities.
- Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.
- Administering or assisting with medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any safeguarding concerns.
- Building positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a support worker is essential
- NVQ Level 2/3 desireable
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexible approach to working various shift patterns.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK.
