AA Euro Group are looking for experienced Welders to join our client at the prestigious Hinkley Point C project. This is your chance to contribute to the construction of the UK`s first-ever third generation nuclear power plant, shaping a sustainable future. The Role:
Perform welding operations to a radiographic standard.
Conduct equipment inspections.
Adhere to established welding protocols and safety regulations, including fume control.
Identify and report potential welding problems for corrective action.
Ability to identify your own welds for quality control.
Comply with established quality control procedures and documentation standards.
Requirements:
Significant welding experience with a solid foundation in various welding techniques: TIG, MMA, Orbital TIG.
A multi-disciplined welding approach and the ability to weld a variety of materials: stainless steel, carbon steel and duplex steels.
A proven track record in large-scale projects in a regulated sector.
Experience working in environments with stringent quality control procedures and inspections.
Proficient in welding and fabricating piping systems, understanding the specific requirements of this field.
Level 3 Welding Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
EN ISO 9606 certified (or equivalent)
CSCS card
Right to work in the UK.
