Children's Residential (EBD) Location: Waltham Forest, E10

Salary: 400 - 600 per Day (Self-Employed)

Commitment: Approximately 2 days per week

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a growing children's residential care provider preparing to open a new 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home in Waltham Forest (E10). Planning has been submitted, with a decision expected by 12th August, and we are seeking an experienced Responsible Individual to support the registration and ongoing governance of the service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior leader looking for a flexible, part-time position with a provider committed to delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Responsible Individual in line with Ofsted regulations.
  • Provide strategic oversight and governance of the service.
  • Support the Registered Manager through the registration process and beyond.
  • Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Monitor safeguarding, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the provider in achieving positive Ofsted outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Responsible Individual or Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated environment.
