We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to work agency shifts at a well-established care home in Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Healthcare Assistants looking for flexible agency work, with regular shifts available to fit around your existing commitments.

The Role

As an Agency Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their day-to-day care and wellbeing, while promoting dignity, independence and choice. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents
  • Supporting residents with personal care, washing, dressing and continence needs
  • Assisting with mobility and repositioning where required
  • Supporting residents with meals and hydration
  • Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns to senior staff
  • Building positive relationships with residents and their families
  • Maintaining accurate care records
  • Working as part of a wider nursing and care team
  • Following all relevant care plans, policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker
  • Experience within a care home, nursing home or similar healthcare setting is desirable
  • A caring, compassionate and respectful approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable and flexible approach to agency work
  • Right to work in the UK
