The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28800 £ per year.
It would be beneficial to have an interest in fishing and a good knowledge about carp/match fishing bait. You will initially be required to prepare stock, label stock, and maintain stock levels while also carrying out general good housekeeping throughout your area. The job does require you to be mostly on your feet doing plenty of bending and lifting so you will require a reasonable level of fitness. Please keep in mind that with the nature of our business some products can be smelly.
- Preparing and packaging stock products ready for customer sale.
- You will be required to pick and pack orders.
- Working together with colleagues to achieve daily targets.
- Replenishing stock.
- Manufacturing our in-house products and mixes.
- Being confident to use on site machinery – full training and demonstrations will be given.
- Some manual handling – up to 25Kg at any one time.
- Contributing to the general housekeeping and health and safety in the Warehouse.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Answering the warehouse phone.
- Greeting/Speaking to customers.
- Computer programme training will be given but it is essential that the candidate is computer literate.
- Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

The role is a minimum 6-month temporary contract but with possibility of a permanent position. Starting salary is above the national minimum wage. Working days are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Overtime will be subject to availability. Holiday entitlement is statutory entitlement. Successful candidates will be provided with uniform t-shirts and hoodies.
