Duties
- Responsible for controlling the goods in and Out in a busy manufacturing facility.
- Control and quality verification of goods to and from subcontractors and customers.
- Acceptance and inventory control of raw materials and ancillary items.
- Liaise with other team leaders and management daily to aid production flow and quality control.
- Control of the issuing and completion of delivery and receipt documentation.
- Movement of raw materials to the storage and manufacturing areas as required.
- Daily Liaison with the company’s office administrators to verify output statistics and information.
- Responsible for monthly raw material audits and information delivery to aid WIP flow.
- Responsible for the housekeeping and Health & Safety of the company’s store’s area..
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills: a high level of verbal and written English is required.
- The ability to work to timescales and organise & prioritise the store's team responsibilities.
- Plenty of drive, energy, and determination.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Flexibility to help in other areas when required and a self-starter.
- Experience in a Manufacturing background, ideally Engineering.
- A current FLT licence would be distinctly advantageous.
- Overtime work as and when required
