A Mechanical Engineer with strong hydraulics expertise, supporting the maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of mechanical and hydraulic systems across a busy rubber mixing facility. This is a hands-on role for someone with excellent troubleshooting skills and a proven ability to diagnose complex hydraulic and mechanical failures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Banbury/internal mixers, open mixing mills, hydraulic presses and rams, HPUs, cylinders, pumps, valves and accumulators, extrusion and material handling equipment, and cooling/utility systems.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and hydraulic faults to minimise production downtime.
- Carry out root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
