We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Supervisor to lead industrial installation projects, supervise site teams, and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Location: Site-based role with travel and working away when required.

Hours: Full-time – 38 hours per week (basic) - Overtime essential.

The Role:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support installation teams on site
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within specification
  • Manage labour, materials, and site performance efficiently
  • Maintain health & safety compliance and site standards
  • Review site documentation and assist where required
  • Support quotations, material planning, and reporting

Electrical Installation Duties:

You will be hands-on and capable of working independently:

  • Install cable containment systems
  • Mount equipment (isolators, junction boxes, etc.)
  • Run, gland, terminate and test cables
  • Earth plant equipment in accordance with BS 7671
  • Test installations to BS 7671/NICEIC standards
  • Test electrical control panels
  • Maintain safe and orderly work areas

Requirements:

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years’ industrial installation experience
  • Strong knowledge of current wiring regulations and safety standards
  • CSCS/ECS card and Health & Safety training
  • IPAF certification
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Desirable:

  • Experience supervising industrial electrical installations
  • Ability to prepare material schedules and site documentation
