Our client, a specialist geoenvironmental consultancy, is looking for an enthusiastic Instrumentation Technician to join their growing environmental monitoring team based in Basildon. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, calibrate and maintain environmental monitoring equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in monitoring systems.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of monitoring equipment on site.
  • Manage monitoring data through client portals and internal systems.
  • Maintain equipment records, inventory and calibration documentation.
  • Assist with workshop organisation and equipment logistics.

About You

  • Qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Environmental Science or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A genuine interest in electronics, instrumentation or technical equipment.
  • Methodical, organised and keen to learn.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
