Controls Engineer (Short term contract)

A4 Plus is a Mechanical Design Consultancy based in Cambridgeshire. We need a Controls Engineer to support a client based in Peterborough for  a short period on a contract basis. Our customer produces some of the worlds best food production lines and processing equipment.  The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in: Hardware design – Experience of machinery design using 3 phase motors, PLd level safety systems, instrumentation such as pressure transducers, temperature measurement, flow etc. Control system design – 3 phase power distribution, safety circuits, control circuits, PLC / I/O. PLC requirements – Rockwell / Siemens PLC / HMI experience. Ladder logic mostly. Usually from similars rather than FDS.
