We are recruiting for an experienced Design Lead to join a growing international design team, working on major stadium, sports infrastructure and training facility projects across the UK and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil, Mechanical, MEP, Building Services or Infrastructure Design professional to move into the specialist world of sports and stadium design. Previous sports-sector experience is not essential.
The Role
- Lead multidisciplinary design and coordination of major infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate drainage, irrigation, water infrastructure, heating, ventilation and M&E interfaces.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors and specialist consultants.
- Manage design delivery from concept through detailed design, IFC and construction support.
- Lead BIM coordination, design reviews and technical submissions.
- Liaise directly with clients and project stakeholders.
About You
- 5+ years' experience within an engineering design environment.
- Strong multidisciplinary design and coordination experience.
- Background in Civil Engineering, MEP, Building Services, Drainage, Water or Infrastructure.
- Experience working within BIM-led environments.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit; Civil 3D or Navisworks advantageous.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Confident dealing with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Sports or Field of Play experience is desirable but not essential, with training provided.
