We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to serve our nationwide logistics customers in a safe and timely manner.
Role Requirements:
- Full valid UK C+E driving license (Class 1)
- Hold a full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DQC)
- Digital Tacho Knowledge
- Less than 6 penalty points on your license - No DR/IN Codes
- Minimum 3 MONTHS experience preferred
- To work Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Transport goods to our customers
- Carry out daily vehicle & trailer checks
- Meet delivery schedules and timings
- Comply with LGV Driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company Safe systems of work and policies and procedures
- Manoeuvre LGV Vehicles into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents or violations in a timely manner
