Class 1 Night Driver

We are recruiting on behalf of an established haulier a Class 1 ( C + E ) Location: Royston, Hertfordshire (operations across UK depots) Employment Type: Temp to Perm Company Overview: our customer is a fast-growing pallet / logistics / hauling company operating Pallet depot-to-depot trunk haulage night services. If you\’re a skilled Class 1 driver looking for stable night work, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities * Operate a Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicle to carry out trunking (depot-to-depot) runs, * Drop and swap trailers as required, ( usually curtains side live loads ) * Ensure goods are transported safely and delivered in good condition. * Carry out walkthrough and safety checks of vehicles. * Adhere to Driver CPC, rest periods, digital tachograph, and all legal requirements. * Maintain accurate paperwork, using electronic systems where required. Requirements * Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence. * Digital Tachograph card & valid Driver CPC qualification. * Clean driving record (e.g. no more than 6 penalty points; no major endorsements). * Night-driving experience preferred. * Able to work unsupervised and follow schedules. * , attentive, and safety conscious.
