As a Property Manager at A2Dominion, you’ll be responsible for delivering a high quality, customer focused housing management service across our keyworker and student accommodation, ensuring properties are well run, compliant, and delivering a great experience for residents. You’ll be creating environments that feel well-managed and welcoming, building relationships that matter, and becoming a trusted point of contact for residents day to day. It’s a varied, hands-on role where your organisation, resilience and customer focus really count.
Responsibilities
- Manage the allocation and letting of properties, including viewings, sign-ups and tenancy documentation.
- Oversee void management to ensure properties are re-let efficiently and rental loss is minimised.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, resolving queries, complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Carry out regular estate and property inspections, ensuring accurate records are maintained and appropriate actions are taken.
- Monitor contractor performance and report any service delivery issues.
- Manage tenancies in line with policies, procedures and key performance indicators.
- Handle anti-social behaviour cases and customer disputes, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Promote good housekeeping and fire safety practices across all properties.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and property management activity.
- Monitor rent accounts and take appropriate action to manage arrears and maximise income.
- Work closely with internal teams, external partners and stakeholders to support residents.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, hearings and court proceedings where required.
- Support the Area Manager in reviewing and improving policies, procedures and working practices.
More About You
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a customer-facing property or housing management role.
- Strong understanding of tenancy management and customer service delivery.
- Ability to resolve problems effectively and respond to customer needs.
- Knowledge of housing law, housing management issues and best practice is highly desirable.
- Understanding of building safety and compliance requirements.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable.
