Location: Ealing office base – on average one day a quarter in Ealing

Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa £36,000

DBS Level: Basic

About the Role

The Resourcing Officer is a key member of the Resourcing Team, making sure recruitment runs smoothly across the Customer Directorate. You\’ll manage the full recruitment process up to the offer stage, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. You\’ll also focus on high-volume recruitment, talent attraction, building talent pools, and improving processes to make things more efficient.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Managing Recruitment & Candidates
  • Own the recruitment process from start to offer for roles within the Customer Directorate
  • Work with Hiring Managers to make sure job descriptions and adverts are accurate and engaging
  • Screen applications, shortlist candidates, and arrange interviews
  • Be the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Keep multiple recruitment campaigns moving, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Spot recruitment challenges and come up with practical solutions
  • Run targeted recruitment campaigns to attract high-quality candidates
  • Supporting Hiring Managers & Stakeholders
  • Give Hiring Managers advice and support on best practice recruitment, including interview and assessment methods
  • Train and guide Hiring Managers on using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Organise logistics for both virtual and in-person interviews
  • Work alongside Resourcing Partners to shape recruitment strategies that meet business needs
  • Use recruitment data to provide insights and improve processes
  • Deliver training sessions for Hiring Managers to strengthen their recruitment skills
  • Attracting Talent & Employer Branding
  • Source candidates directly and build strong talent pools for future roles
  • Use job boards, social media, and networking to attract the best people
  • Support employer branding efforts to strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice
  • Keep in touch with potential candidates and maintain an engaged talent pipeline
  • Help develop and refine employer branding strategies
  • Make sure all recruitment activities follow employment law, GDPR, and internal policies
  • Keep accurate recruitment records in the ATS and provide reports on recruitment performance
  • Analyse recruitment data to spot trends and suggest improvements
  • Look for ways to improve efficiency and enhance the candidate experience
  • Champion diversity and inclusion within recruitment
  • Work with senior stakeholders to refine recruitment policies and processes.

Essentials We\’re Looking For:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grades A*-C)
  • Recruitment Qualification
  • Substantial experience in recruitment or recruiting role within a Housing or Healthcare sector
  • Strong admin and coordination skills, with the ability to juggle multiple vacancies
  • Great written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and people-focused approach
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Understanding of recruitment best practices and employment legislation, including GDPR
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and keep up in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working under pressure while still delivering quality work
  • A solution-focused mindset, able to spot and fix problems quickly.
