Overview

As a Survey Assistant you’ll be at the heart of the Surveying Team, helping to keep activity running smoothly and ensuring our work is delivered to a high standard. You’ll bring a proactive attitude and a practical, solutions-focused approach, helping the team stay organised and efficient.

Salary, Contract and Location

Salary: £25,394 to £26,730

Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Ealing/Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Surveying Manager and the team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments and organising meetings
  • Maintain and organise survey-related documents, reports, and records. Ensuring they are easily accessible and up to date
  • Handle internal and external communications, including responding to emails, making phone calls, following up with residents, leaseholders, contractors, consultants, local authority officers, and internal stakeholders as required
  • Input and update survey data into databases or spreadsheets, ensuring all information is accurate and properly organised
  • Assist with processing invoices, tracking project budgets, and ensuring that financial records are properly maintained
  • Help coordinate project timelines, tasks, and resources, ensuring all administrative aspects of the project are handled efficiently

More About You

  • Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grade A*-C)
  • The ability to extract reports from ICT systems and validate information as correct
  • Highly organised and able to coordinate and service meetings and events
  • Able to take accurate and concise minutes
  • Ability to quickly and accurately organise and transpose simple data between systems and spreadsheets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, at a basic level or above
  • Experience or understanding of social housing, local authority operations, property assets and components is highly desirable
