We’re looking for a VFM Analyst to join our Finance Transformation team, working closely with senior stakeholders to build robust reporting, benchmarking, and performance insight capabilities to help the organisation understand cost, efficiency, and value. You’ll play a key role in helping us understand performance, identify efficiencies, and ensure we deliver the best possible value for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Develop and evaluate business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI, and scenario modelling.
- Partner with project teams to assess the financial impact of change initiatives.
- Produce high-quality, insight-driven reporting to support senior stakeholders and Executive decision-making.
- Support the delivery of transformation projects, often acting in a Finance Analyst capacity across multiple workstreams.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Contribute to performance and efficiency initiatives, including value-for-money analysis where relevant.
- Engage with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, and the wider business to gather information and provide financial challenge.
- Present financial insights clearly and persuasively to senior leaders.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or equivalent experience in a finance role.
- Strong experience in financial modelling and business case development.
- Commercial mindset, with the ability to evaluate investment decisions and drive value.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with complex data.
- Experience producing clear, insight-led outputs for senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in project-based or transformation environments.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story through data.
- Proactive and resilient, with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
- Collaborative approach, with experience working cross-functionally.
