Overview
We’re looking for a PMO Officer to join our Project Services team, supporting the successful delivery of complex, organisation‑wide transformation projects and programmes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring strong governance, effective reporting and coordination across multiple projects and workstreams, helping to drive successful delivery and strategic outcomes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of programme governance frameworks, standards and controls
- Coordinate governance meetings and forums, including agenda management, reporting packs and minute‑taking
- Track actions, decisions, risks and dependencies across projects and workstreams
- Maintain integrated programme plans, milestones and delivery timelines
- Support Project Managers and workstream leads to ensure project plans remain accurate and up to date
- Produce regular programme reporting, dashboards and performance insights for senior stakeholders
- Maintain RAID logs and support effective risk, issue and dependency management processes
- Support budget tracking, resource planning and programme administration activities
- Assist with stakeholder communications, presentations and programme updates
- Act as a central coordination point across project teams and stakeholders
- Support lessons learned activities and continuous improvement initiatives across the programme
More About You
- Experience working in a PMO, project support or programme support role within large‑scale transformation or strategic programmes
- Strong understanding of project, programme and portfolio management methodologies and controls
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in fast‑paced environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience supporting senior stakeholders
- Experience using MS Project or similar planning tools
- Educated to A‑Level standard (or equivalent qualification or experience)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification or relevant degree (desirable)
