Our engineering client is looking for a specialist sheet aluminium TIG welder to work in their Lancing manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long term career opportunity as the company will be starting an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), where the company is owned by its employees. Gauges to be welded vary from 1.2 mm up to 4.0 mm, using the TIG welding process. Salary would be dependant on results from an in house welding test and experience. It is therefore important that you could demonstrate during a weld test that you could produce quality welds on thin gauge aluminium using the TIG welding process. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to 16:30, so a 42 hour basic week with overtime usually available up to10 hours per week.
