Our Shoreham-by-Sea engineering client is a global strategic engineering and environmental consultancy that specialises in the transport, energy and scarce resources sectors. They will be undertaking specialised car testing in and around the local area on a specific test route on the Public Highway. This is very interesting work and would suit someone with a genuine interest in cars.
The work will involve an initial driving assessment training course on Monday 18th May and then the project will commence on Tuesday 26th May. You would need to pass the course before starting. The driving itself will involve a prescribed route using data logging equipment with the day broken down into 3 x 2 hour drives with short breaks in between. Quality of driving and working closely with the project engineer are the key attributes.
The working day will be variable, but approximately six to eight hours and will be three to five days per week, covering Monday to Friday. Flexibility is the key and it's important to stress that this work wouldn't suit someone who requires guaranteed full time hours each week.
Requirements:- To hold a UK Driving Licence and have a minimum of five years driving on UK roads.
- Clean Licence. Although a small number of points will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be over 23 for insurance purposes.
