The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

We are looking for a Goods-In Inspector who has very good skills in stock control. The main responsibility is receiving, inspecting, and logging deliveries arriving at the company. You will work as part of the wider stores team and will be trained on all roles but with a bias towards the receiving of materials. Deliveries range from multiple pallets of raw materials or components to a delivery of single items. Your day will be split 50% product inspection and movement, 50% computer data input.

Requirements:

  • Experience booking goods, which includes being responsible for receiving/checking incoming goods.
  • Ensure the goods match the relevant paperwork (purchase order, delivery note).
  • Ensure that the goods are in good condition and match the item specifications.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as a shadowgraph and Vernier gauge.
  • Hold a Forklift licence and have experience driving a Forklift (Reach or Counterbalance).
  • Physically move stock around the warehouse and move stock from one location to another via the company's computer systems.
  • Knowledge of 123 Insight or similar software (used for all movements of stock from the point of delivery to being dispatched finished goods).
  • Ability to identify lot numbers of products and any discrepancies found.
