Due to expansion, we are now recruiting for a Product Design Engineer in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Our Client designs and manufactures tailored powered and non-powered mobile workstations based on the customer’s needs. All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.
The ergonomic ID cart range has been created specifically for use within Healthcare and Manufacturing-Cleanroom environments and has been designed to provide the most modular and flexible solution on the market.
- You will have a strong background in product design and development along with solid knowledge of the product lifecycle.
- Working from our Bognor Regis office, the successful candidate will ideally need to demonstrate experience designing products using fabricated materials and components, preferably using Solidworks.

What you will accomplish together with us:
- Developing 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using Solidworks.
- Supporting the development of products with understanding of performance requirements, including all aspects of the product design criteria, product function and customer needs – cost reductions on existing designs and products.
- Ensuring quality in a product's design for usability, reliability, functionality and manufacturability.
- Supporting efforts to verify and validate new product designs.
- Applying design to cost and design for manufacturability methods to support project managers in achievement of project objectives.
- Contributing as a team member on projects carrying out assigned responsibilities.
- Working collaboratively with other team members in all aspects of work, including observing all Health and Safety measures.
