Trainee Machine Operators (Book Printing Industry) Bognor Regis, West Sussex Our great Client in Bognor Regis is looking to recruit a number of great people to join their team, they need people who are genuinely willing to learn how to operate various machines in a Print (BOOK) factory environment. Candidates applying for this position will be expected to show enthusiasm and reliability (excellent time keeping) as the 4 teams on each machine require a set number of people to ensure continuous 24 hour operation. Would you would like to earn £457 per week (Equivalent to £23.764 per year) + accrued holiday pay, then this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for. * Pay per hour: £11.92 – £12.14+ holiday pay, paid weekly on Fridays and Holiday Pay is accrued additionally according to the hours worked. * Total daily paid hours available- 7.67 hours pay per day * Total weekly paid hours- 38.35 hours per week * Overtime paid after 38.35 hours at Time and a Half- Not compulsory * Enrolment on a pension scheme after 12 weeks completed * This a TEMP to PERM opportunity for the right candidates Shifts patterns: Weekly rotating- These 3 shifts rotate each week and please advise that you must be prepared to work all 3 shifts in weekly rotation. 1st Week-Monday to Friday (6am to 2pm) 2nd Week-Monday to Friday (2pm to 10pm) 3rd Week-Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am) NIGHT SHIFT The training will be provided to ensure you are comfortable looking after the various machines. When machines are not in operation, all candidates will be expected to transfer onto the manual operation within Packing/ Stores dept. The aim of this position is quality and not speed. This is an opportunity to learn something new and in time will develop your skills in Machining and Production.
