Our client in Newhaven, West Sussex is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Assembler to join their manufacturing team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and efficiency, ensuring high‑quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing to the production process of various goods.

Hours of Work

8am to 5pm Mon to Thurs, 8am to 1:30pm Fridays.

Pay and Benefits

£12.71 per hour for 39.5 hours per week = £502 per week = £26,100 per annum. Plus holiday pay on accrued hours. This is a temp‑to‑perm role for the right candidate.

Duties

  • Assemble wooden picture frames and products following detailed specifications and diagrams.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to secure parts and complete assemblies.
  • Inspect assembled items for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to facilitate efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist in the packaging and preparation of finished products for shipment.
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times during assembly operations.
