Our engineering client, owing to business expansion, has a requirement for a Mechanical Assembler to work in their factory in Upper Beeding, West Sussex. The Successful candidate will assemble smaller sub-assemblies, which are then assembled onto a larger machine; if required, modify and then tested as per customer requirements. Detailed Description * Under supervision, build and integrate mechanical components in bespoke automated machines. * Responsible for picking parts for sub assembly. * Ensure work is completed to agreed schedules. * Once machinery is completed, potentially assist with installation support if required. * Responsible for completing safety and quality checks and associated documentation. * Responsible for quality of work, attention to detail and communicating any issues promptly. Basic Requirements * Mechanical Assembly Experience * Ideally, general electrical wiring experience, although not essential. * Able to read engineering drawings * Basic and safe use of hand tools * Good communication skills Working days/hours Mon-Thur, 08:00 to 16:30 and Fri, 08:00 to 13:30. 30 mins for lunch
