This will be a very hands on role and the Logistics/Store person we are looking for will be responsible for logistics operations of manufactured products, iIncluding bespoke packing of high value and fragile products (castings), shipping and dealing with a multitude of couriers - dependent on destination (National or International). Liaising with quality dept and using MRP computer system.
The Logistics Manager will have:
- Experience in automotive logistics, ideally within a demanding, high-volume environment. xgikmsk
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including planning, process discipline and practical problem-solving.
- Set up and track shipments end to end: quotes, bookings, documents and delivery **MUST have a forklift licence
