Our engineering client is looking for an experienced Works Manager for their fabrication factory. It is essential that you have Team Leader/Management experience as well as being a competent TIG Welder using stainless tubular material. Whilst around 60% of the working time will be spent on the shop floor TIG Welding, the remainder will be spent in a senior operational role.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily manufacturing activities, staff and production processes within the fabrication factory
  • Leading and supervising production teams
  • Project Coordination
  • Health & Safety Compliance
  • Quality Control
  • Budgeting & Cost Control

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in TIG Welding Stainless Steel tubular material
  • A track record of team leadership or management in a fabrication environment
  • CAD experience would be useful, but is not essential

Working Hours:

40 hours per week, Mon to Thur 8am to 5pm with a 2pm finish on Friday.
