Base: Radernie Low Secure Unit – Stratheden Hospital

We are currently seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in Forensic Mental Health for a short-term locum role based in Scotland. The assignment runs from 16/07/25 to 06/08/25 , with a Monday to Friday working pattern during core hours. No on-call duties are required.

Requirements:

  • Priority will be given to applicants on the Specialist Register , though others with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Recent UK clinical experience is essential (clinical attachments do not qualify).
  • Full compliance required at submission:
  • Up-to-date Fit to Work health clearance
  • Valid PVG check
  • Two recent UK clinical references
  • Passport copy
  • If not a UK national, proof of right to work in the UK (via gov.uk immigration check)
