Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation across the estate. The successful candidate will ensure public spaces, hotel rooms, the golf club and function rooms meet our high standards every day.
Location: Mannings Heath, Horsham, West Sussex
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare hotel rooms to the highest standard, including bed‑making, linen changes, dusting, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, and replenishing guest amenities
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and dining spaces
- Clean and service golf club facilities, including locker rooms and related areas
- Set up, clean, and restore function rooms for events (weddings, conferences, private dining) before and after use
- Promptly report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages to management
- Strictly adhere to health & safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with laundry operations and stock handling when required
- Provide polite, professional interactions with guests and respond to any requests efficiently and courteously
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (but not essential – full training will be provided)
- Strong attention to detail and genuine pride in delivering high‑quality presentation
- Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a small team
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to working hours (including weekends)
- Physically capable of manual tasks, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and carrying
