A24 is looking for an HR Business Partner & Office Manager who will collaborate with leaders and employees across the studio, with primary responsibility for our UK-based team members. You will own UK HR compliance and employment practices, while also serving as the day-to-day manager of our London office β overseeing its operations, facilities, and workplace experience for our growing team. You'll be a trusted advisor to managers and employees, working closely with our broader People team to bring global programs to life locally. This position is based in our London office.
Responsibilities β What you'll do
- HR Business Partnership
- Advise leaders on org design, workforce planning, talent opportunities, and team health
- Be a sounding board for managers and employees navigating tough decisions, as well as their own growth
- Own UK employment compliance and best practices, e.g., contracts, policies, right-to-work checks, statutory processes, and handbook updates as regulations evolve
- Lead your business groups through performance and comp planning cycles in collaboration with the broader People team
- Support onboarding for new starters, ensuring a smooth end-to-end experience from offer through first weeks
- Use business and people data (e.g., financials, goals, attrition, performance) to diagnose root issues and make grounded recommendations
- Office Management & Workplace Experience
- Own the day-to-day running of the London office, e.g., space planning, workplace supplies, purchasing, budgeting, health & safety, other compliance requirements, and general logistics
- Serve as primary point of contact for building management and local vendors, e.g., cleaning, maintenance, security, and catering
- In collaboration with other colleagues, plan and coordinate office-based events and internal programming to build connectivity and culture
- Ensure strong front-of-house operations, including reception coverage and guest experience, stepping in during peak times as needed
- Serve as the primary in-office point of contact for day-to-day IT / AV needs, including basic troubleshooting and meeting room tech setup, partnering with central IT team as needed
- Support planning and execution of office upgrades, space enhancements, and future office planning, including construction and densification initiatives
Qualifications β What you bring
- 6+ years in HR, with expertise in local employment practices
- Experience owning office management or workplace operations, ideally for a high growth team
- Passion for partnering with and guiding leaders and managers
- Comfort with ambiguity and working in fast, creative environments
- Humble and resourceful, with a no-task-is-too-small attitude
