JOB DESCRIPTION

An established and growing manufacturer in the industrial sector is seeking a dedicatedProduction Operator - PM shiftto join their team in Braintree. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality production output while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Follow safe working practices in line with company procedures.

Select and prepare materials as per production documentation.

Operate compression moulding and extrusion machinery to produce components.

Maintain good housekeeping standards; 5S experience is a plus.

Meet tight production deadlines and ensure quality workmanship.

Accurately complete and process production paperwork and system records.

Proactively identify material shortages and inform relevant departments.

Support production planning to meet customer delivery deadlines.

Participate in team meetings and communicate operational updates effectively.

Be flexible in supporting other areas of the production process as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Manual handling capability.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational skills and a methodical work approach.

Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential.

Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage.
