About us:
A1 Cars are a busy taxi firm based in St Ives, Cornwall.
We are now looking to take on more part time drivers to join our team, due to our ever expanding work load. Positions are permanent and all year round. Experience is not essential. Good knowledge of the local area is an advantage. If you enjoy driving and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this position.

We are looking for part time drivers to join our team, Day, Evening and weekend shifts available We welcome existing badge holders and owner drivers too
Our drivers can work either just evenings, weekends or day time shifts or a mixture of all.

Role:
- Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a pleasant and comfortable ride experience
- Safely drive passengers to their destinations using the most efficient routes
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading their luggage or belongings
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the taxi cab
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department
- Provide excellent customer service and address any passenger inquiries or complaints
-Very good earning potential
- Car provided however owner drivers are welcome
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
– Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers in a friendly and professional manner
– Valid driver\’s license with a clean driving record
– Ability to drive safely and navigate efficiently using GPS or maps
– Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance to ensure the taxi cab is in good working condition
– Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in Commercial Driving is a plus
License is required but can help you with this, both financially and with the application process.
