What You’ll Be Doing:
- Issuing authority to third-party suppliers for tyre-related repairs and replacements – strong tyre knowledge is key
- Handling calls for vehicle breakdowns, providing support and guidance to customers and technicians
- Coordinating and authorising maintenance and MOT work, requiring a good grasp of mechanical systems
- Liaising confidently with drivers, technicians, other depots, and customers
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the department in the supervisor’s absence
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid tyre and mechanical knowledge – ideally from a commercial vehicle, fleet, or transport background
- Strong communication skills, especially over the phone
- A confident, proactive personality who’s comfortable working independently when needed
- A collaborative team player who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes
The Offer:
- £30,000 salary, dependent on experience
- Full-time hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
