Key Responsibilities- Managing a caseload of family law matters appropriate to your level of qualification and experience.
- Assisting clients with divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, cohabitation disputes, and domestic abuse matters.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, witness statements, and court applications.
- Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, experts, and third parties.
- Attending court hearings, client meetings, and mediations where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supporting business development, networking activities, and the continued growth of the Family Law Department.
