An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Bridging Finance Solicitor to join a highly regarded Property Finance team in London. The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of bridging finance and secured lending transactions, acting primarily for lenders, borrowers, investors and developers. You will manage your own caseload of matters from instruction through to completion, working on fast-paced transactions while providing commercially focused legal advice and exceptional client service. This role is ideal for a solicitor with a strong background in property finance who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of bridging finance and property finance transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Advising lenders, borrowers, developers and investors on secured lending matters.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating loan agreements, legal charges, debentures, guarantees and security documentation.
  • Conducting and reviewing title investigations, searches and due diligence.
  • Advising on security structures and identifying legal risks.
  • Liaising with clients, brokers, valuers, surveyors, accountants and other solicitors throughout transactions.
  • Negotiating transaction documents and satisfying conditions precedent.
  • Coordinating completions and overseeing all post-completion formalities, including Land Registry applications and Companies House registrations where required.
  • Ensuring compliance with lender requirements, regulatory obligations and internal risk procedures.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and helping to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors, paralegals and support staff where appropriate.
