As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you’ll play an important role supporting the design and delivery of a diverse range of engineering projects. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, clients, and consultants while contributing to innovative engineering solutions across multiple projects.
- Supporting senior engineers in delivering design work across multiple projects
- Producing structural design calculations and assisting with technical analysis
- Supporting the planning of site investigations
- Undertaking site inspections and attending site meetings
- Coordinating design work in line with project briefs and programme constraints
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams to support project delivery
- Working within BIM processes and ISO 19650 standards
- Assisting with the development and coordination of project information models
- Ensuring designs comply with quality procedures and industry best practice
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong understanding of engineering principles
- Understanding of construction methods and procedures
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as the role involves travelling to project sites
- Knowledge of structural design software
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Exposure to structural design in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry
- Ability to interpret and apply engineering concepts effectively
