The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Property Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established and expanding legal practice based in Farnham.
Our client is seeking a proactive Solicitor with 1–3 years' PQE who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and experienced litigation team.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of property disputes, gaining exposure to both commercial and residential property litigation. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work while benefiting from guidance and support from experienced legal professionals.

Experience in commercial property law is essential, while residential property experience would be advantageous but is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own property litigation caseload under appropriate supervision.
- Handling matters from initial client enquiry and instruction through to resolution.
- Advising clients on commercial property disputes and related litigation matters.
- Assisting with residential property disputes where appropriate.
- Drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, court applications and other documentation.
- Conducting legal research and developing effective case strategies.
- Liaising with clients, opposing solicitors, barristers, experts, courts and other relevant parties.
- Attending court hearings, mediations, negotiations and client meetings as required.Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice.Ensuring files are managed efficiently and in accordance with relevant procedures and deadlines.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Take a proactive approach to managing matters and progressing cases independently.
- Work closely with senior colleagues and benefit from ongoing technical guidance.
- Contribute to business development, networking and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with the continued growth and development of the Property Litigation department.
- Build your professional reputation and establish relationships within the local market.
- Deliver consistently high standards of client care and service.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor status with 1–3 years' PQE.
- Previous experience handling property litigation matters.
- Strong knowledge and experience of commercial property law and related disputes.
- Experience managing legal files from initial instruction through to conclusion.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and legal research skills.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients.
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to take ownership of your workload.
- A genuine interest in developing your practice and contributing to business growth.
- The ability to work independently while recognising when supervision or guidance is required.
Experience in residential property disputes would be beneficial, although this is not essential.
