An international logistics firm with deep European roots is seeking a European Transport Coordinator to manage day-to-day road freight operations across the continent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multilingual environment and enjoys the challenges of coordinating transport across borders with precision and care.
You’ll be working closely with hauliers, customs teams, and internal departments to ensure goods move efficiently and compliantly. If you’ve got a knack for logistics and speak both English and another European language (German is a big plus), this role is made for you.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Daily planning, booking, and monitoring of international road transport routes
- Managing cost efficiency and negotiating with hauliers
- Providing customer updates and resolving issues in real-time
- Preparing and checking customs documents to ensure full compliance
- Updating internal systems with transport status and delivery outcomes
Your Skills & Experience:
- Experience in logistics or transport operations—ideally in European freight forwarding
- Strong communication and organizational skills, especially under pressure
- Comfortable managing multiple bookings and problem-solving on the fly
- Fluency in English and ideally German (other European languages also welcome)
- Competency with MS Office and transport management systems
