We are seeking a Technical Consultant to join an established and highly respected team based in Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience from a construction or building services ideally with passive fire protection experience who wants to develop their technical expertise while working on a diverse range of commercial projects.
You'll work alongside experienced professionals, providing technical support.
This is a varied role offering excellent career progression and ongoing training The Role As a Technical Consultant, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by: Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and firestopping details.
Providing technical advice to clients, contractors and internal project teams.
Identifying missing or conflicting information and raising technical queries.
Supporting the selection of appropriate tested fire protection systems and products.
Liaising with manufacturers, site teams and clients to ensure technical compliance.
Assisting with quality inspections and ensuring installations meet manufacturer guidelines and project specifications.
Recording defects, variations and remedial actions where required.
About You We're looking for someone who has: Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships with clients and project teams.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive approach with a genuine desire to continue learning and developing.
Desirable Experience While not essential, experience in any of the following would be advantageous: Passive Fire Protection or Design Management.
IFE Level 2 qualification.
CSCS Card.
