We are recruiting for a Fuels Technician to join a specialist Technical Services team based in West Thurrock working on bespoke fuel formulations for the Oil Majors and Automotive industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple technical projects from start to finish.
- Formulate and test a range of fuel blends.
- Troubleshoot production, technical and formulation issues.
- Support raw material sourcing, testing and approval.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Assist with process improvements and mentor team members.
- Ensure all work meets HSE and quality standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or equivalent – essential
- 2+ years' laboratory experience, ideally with fuel testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong HSE focus.
