About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter Programmer to join a well-established and growing engineering company. Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Producing precision components to tight tolerances
  • Editing and proving out programs at the machine
  • Selecting correct tooling, fixtures and cutting parameters
  • Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter Programmer
  • Ability to program online and/or offline
  • Experience with Haas and Siemens controls preferred
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and quality standards
