A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for Customs Clerk Import / Export coordinator role on behalf of our client, an established freight forwarding company based in Tilbury.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process import customs clearances using Destin8 and other relevant systems.
- Ensure compliance with all HMRC and UK customs regulations.
- Prepare and submit import declarations accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and port authorities.
- Handle any queries related to customs entries and clearance delays.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all import transactions.
- Assist with duty and VAT calculations.
- Stay updated on changes in customs laws and procedures.
