A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist, on behalf of our client, a leader in manufacturing automotive components based in Basildon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate horizontal and 5-axis milling machines.
- Load materials and unload finished products.
- Adjust machine settings, including speeds and cutter paths, as required.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, adhering to customer tolerances.
- Strictly follow procedures and safety guidelines, including company protocols, operating standards, and process documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs of production activities, equipment issues, adjustments, and repairs.
- Conduct machine inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns.
- Ensure machines are adequately stocked with tools and materials to minimize downtime.
- Prioritise safety to protect yourself and others around operational machinery.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods.
