Job Role: CNC Milling Setter/Operator

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm

Location: Basildon

Our client located in Basildon is a CNC engineering company dedicated to producing high-precision components for industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, and advanced manufacturing.   • Set, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines within a dynamic and fast-paced engineering environment
  • Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings and CAD data
  • Monitor machining performance, tool wear, and part quality using precision measuring instruments
  • Collaborate with CNC programmers and production planners to meet tight deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety practices
  • Solid experience in CNC milling operations within a precision engineering company
  • Ability to set multi-axis machines (3-, 4- or 5-axis desirable)
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail
  • Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
