We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller/Turner (Setter/Operator) to join a well-established and growing precision engineering company based in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist who is confident setting and operating CNC machinery using Fanuc controls.

  • Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
  • Producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances
  • Conducting in-process inspections using measuring equipment
  • Ensuring machines are running efficiently and safely
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller, Turner, or Miller/Turner
  • Ability to set and operate machines independently
  • Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Programming experience (online or offline)
  • Experience with a variety of materials (e.g. aluminium, steel, plastics)

Competitive hourly rate (£18–£25 per hour, depending on experience). Overtime opportunities. Stable, long-term position with a reputable company.
