We are recruiting for a

Production Operative to join a specialist manufacturing facility producing highly technical and bespoke products based in West Thurrock.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a technical production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily blending and production activities safely and efficiently.
  • Handle tanker receipts and despatches.
  • Carry out product blending, movements and decanting.
  • Maintain high housekeeping and equipment standards.
  • Follow production plans, work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and report production progress and operational issues.
  • Support continuous improvement and identify operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate stock and production records using ERP systems.
  • Participate in emergency response duties and act as a Fire Marshal when required.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A practical and hands-on approach to work.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety and process safety.

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is advantageous
  • Must drive due to the location
