Are you an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal looking for your next career move?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join a well-established and reputable law firm based in Canterbury, Kent .
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently and has the experience and knowledge to manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction right through to post-completion.
The Role
You will be responsible for independently managing your own residential conveyancing caseload, including:
- Handling transactions from initial instruction through to post-completion
- Managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Dealing with remortgages and transfers of equity
- Preparing contracts and reviewing legal documentation
- Conducting property searches and raising enquiries
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
- Managing exchange of contracts and completions
- Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Ensuring excellent client care and smooth progression of transactions
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience working as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal
- Can independently manage a full caseload from instruction through to post-completion – essential
- Has a strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Is highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines
- Has excellent communication and client care skills
- Is proactive, reliable and confident working with minimal supervision
