Estimator in Brentwood

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing manufacturing business. This is a key role within the commercial team, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to accurate costings and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on customer briefs and technical information
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
• Liaise with internal production teams to assess materials, labour, and manufacturing processes
• Manage multiple quotations simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Act as a point of contact for clients during the pricing and pre-production stages

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience (approximately 3–8 years) within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods including joinery, metal fabrication, and plastic components
• Confident working with technical drawings and specifications
• Competent user of Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience of accounting or estimating software (e.g. Sage or similar)
• Highly organised with the ability to respond quickly in a fast-moving retail environment

Package & Working Hours

• Salary in the region of £30,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Free on-site parking
