An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy and supportive legal team, providing dedicated support to a Family Law department. This is a varied role combining traditional secretarial duties with hands-on legal administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the Family Law team
- Audio typing and transcription of legal documents and correspondence
- Handling client telephone calls and enquiries professionally
- Managing diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements
- Preparing court bundles and legal documentation
- Managing court portal submissions and updates
- Billing and time recording
- Maintaining and organising client files and documentation
- Assisting with general legal and administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant, ideally within Family Law
- Excellent typing and transcription skills with high accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
